William Burrows

My name is William (Billy) Burrows, and I am a well-known and respected financial adviser with Eadon & Co specialising in retirement income planning and I regularly appear in the national press.

My mission is to help as many people as possible make better pension and retirement decisions which is why I have created The Retirement Planning Project.

I have published a number of acclaimed guides including: 'Retirement is a journey not an event' which explains what you need to do at each step of your retirement journey.

I am passionate about helping people so I am offering a free telephone call or zoom meeting to anyone who would like to put their “toe in the water” and find out how I can help them with pensions, investments or later life financial planning.

Help and advice

I have been advising clients for over 25 years and have helped hundreds of people with their pension and retirement planning and advised them about converting their pension pots into cash and income. I also carry out consulting work for product providers, professional advisers and pension schemes.

Short bio

I have been involved with retirement options for nearly 30 years, advising clients on all aspects of annuities and retirement income options.

I am a regulated adviser with Eadon & Co . I have many years of practical experience in advising clients about all aspects of pension options at retirement and I am passionate about helping people make the right decisions about their pensions and retirement income.

In 1992 I helped establish Annuity Direct and then in 1997 I set up William Burrows Annuities (WBA). A year later I joined Prudential Annuities as their Marketing Director for annuities.

In 2001 I returned to running William Burrows Annuities in conjunction with Aspen (actuaries and pension consultants) plc. At the same time I helped launch Aspen Annuities and we were appointed annuity broker to many well known large corporate pension schemes.

In 2010 WBA became part of Better Retirement Group, enabling us to offer the highest quality of services to all approaching retirement.

In January 2022 I became authorised to give financial advice as a financial adviser with Eadon & Co.

I am frequently quoted in the national press and appear on radio and in podcasts and videos. I also write extensively on retirement options.
